Applicants must have completed Grade 10 and have the following qualifications:
•Lifesaving Swim Instructor Certification
•C.P.R. “C” Certification
•National Lifeguard Certification – Pool Option
•Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
•Experience teaching aquafit classes is considered an asset
This is a CUPE bargaining unit position and subject to Article 1(d) - Probationary Period as set out in the Union Collective Agreement. The successful applicant is required to select 25-40 hours per week during the shift pick process. The hourly wage is $24.57 increasing to $25.86 after 60 working days (Jan 2025 Rates).
