Primary duties include:
- Perform heavy manual labour such as digging, lifting and shoveling.
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, operation and repair of utilities.
- Complete paperwork and forms related to specific tasks.
- Utilize various hand tools and power tools to complete tasks.
- Complete site restoration work and drive various sized vehicles.
A valid Class 5 Driver's License (or provincial equivalent) with no more than 6 demerits, or a Graduated Driver's License (GDL) with no more than 4 demerits, with no current suspensions or charges pending.
• 1 year of related driving experience, work experience with power/ hand tools and underground construction related experience will be considered assets.
• A High School diploma or equivalency (e.g. GED or CAEC [Canadian Adult Education Certificate]) will be considered an asset.
• Plumbing experience (or journeyman certification) will be considered an asset.
• A valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's License or Q (Air Brake) endorsement will be considered an asset.
• Boom Truck operator experience (or journeyman certification) will be considered an asset.
• Success in this position requires applicants to hold safety as a value, as working safely is critical in all tasks performed and, in all decisions made.
Compensation: $34.91 – 38.70 per hour (2026 rates)
