Description
As the Senior Technical Analyst, you will work mostly on PeopleSoft Finance and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) modules, Human Capital Management (HCM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and PeopleSoft Interaction Hub, as needed. You will build and support customizations, interfaces and reports using PeopleSoft tools and technology, and related 3rd party tools like Business Intelligence (BI) Publisher. Primary duties include:
• Review and/or gather requirements, propose and design a solution that will meet the business needs and timelines, while ensuring that the solution uses approved tools, techniques and follows corporate standards.
• Work with the Application Analysts and the business to validate and confirm the requirements.
• Create technical design documentation.
• Perform unit and functional testing.
• Provide PeopleSoft advice and recommendations to the business and IT and, where applicable, suggest changes to established methods, tools and processes.

Requirements

• A completed 2 year diploma in Computer Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Math or Engineering, supplemented by formal systems development training with at least 5 years of systems development experience; OR
• A degree in Computer Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Math or Engineering with at least 3 years of systems development.
• At least 3 years of PeopleSoft development experience in PeopleTools 8.60+, and PeopleSoft development tools including PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, Component Interface, Structured Query Report (SQR's), and BI Publisher.
• Working knowledge of Structure Query Language (SQL), web services and a solid foundation in software development methods, practices and procedures will be considered assets.
• You are able to work independently, acquire new knowledge and skills quickly, and apply your analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Success in this position requires strong communications skills and the ability to relay information in both technical and non-technical formats.

Salary & Benefits

Compensation: Pay Grade 13 $49.32 - 66.00 per hour
Out of schedule rates: $61.32 - 74.53 per hour.
This position is presently paid at an Out of Schedule rate to reflect current market conditions.Should market conditions change, the salary may be reviewed and may revert to the base rate.
