• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Knowledge of Distribution/Collection infrastructure repair and maintenance is an asset
• Six months experience in Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection or Metering Services is preferred
• Must be self-motivated, organized, and safety conscious
• Must be able to work without direct supervision
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a proven mechanical aptitude
• Must have good oral, written, and interpersonal skills, supporting our values and principles
Travel to remote locations, including overnight travel, may be required.
• High School or equivalent education
• Possession of Confined Space Entry and Standard First Aid certificates (an asset)
• Provision of a valid Canadian driver’s license (Class 5 min. non GDL); Class 3 with Q endorsement (air brakes) is an asset
• Drivers abstract satisfactory to the Employer (5-year preferred)
• Criminal Records Check satisfactory to the Employer
• Successful completion of a 50 lb. fitness test
• Drug & Alcohol test with results satisfactory to the Employer
