Your duties to support this will include responding to inquiries received from the public, reviewing road works permit applications, designing minor road safety improvements and providing technical support to senior staff. Qualified applicants have strong written and oral communications skills; a two-year Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from a recognized institution; three months of related experience; eligibility for registration with ASTTBC; strong computer skills; and a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
The successful candidate will work afternoons, Monday to Friday, (3.5 hours per day; 17.5 hours per week).
As a component of the selection process, testing will be conducted.
