Description
We are looking for experienced Equipment Operators and Truck Drivers to join our winter seasonal snow removal operations team. Working for the City's Roads & Fleet Division, you will perform skilled work in the operation and minor servicing of heavy-duty trucks and equipment. Along with a commitment to safety, you are a customer-focused team player. Shift Work is required. The start date will be weather-dependent. Permanent (seasonal) winter positions are subject to layoffs and are recalled annually.
Requirements
You have a valid, unrestricted B.C. driver's license ‑ Class 3 or Class 1 with Air Endorsement (or out of province equivalent), and a driver's abstract that reflects a safe driving record. You have at least one year of experience, and you are qualified to operate equipment and/or trucks safely and efficiently. Please include a current driver's abstract with your application.
Salary & Benefits
These winter seasonal positions offer a rate of $38.45 - $43.75 per hour. Seasonal positions are eligible for excellent benefits and pension plan.
