The Asset Management Division is seeking an Asset Management Coordinator to support the District’s continued advancement of asset management practices and sustainable service delivery. Reporting to the Asset Management Program Manager, this position coordinates activities and projects identified in the Asset Management Strategy, supports operational departments in the development and implementation of Asset Management Plans, fosters the development of consistent asset management culture, systems, processes and practices across the organization, and supports the continual improvement of asset management practices in accordance with the District’s Asset Management Policy.
The Asset Management Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating asset management projects, analyzing program data and workflows, supporting continuous improvement, providing guidance to staff on asset management best practices, conducting field site visits to validate asset data, delivering internal training, and facilitating meetings and workshops with stakeholders.
Requirements include a degree in business, commerce, computer sciences, engineering, or a related field, along with three years of related experience, preferably in the municipal sector. Strong communication, research, writing, presentation, organizational, and data systems skills are required. Asset management or project management credentials, and experience implementing asset management software, are considered assets. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
