Description
Aquatic Cashiers serve as the first point of contact for pool visitors, delivering courteous, professional, and informative customer service. In this role, they support the day-to-day operations of the Aquatics Division by providing reception, clerical, and cashiering services. Responsibilities include processing cash transactions and preparing deposits, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with the preparation of correspondence and administrative documents. Aquatic Cashiers play a key role in ensuring a welcoming environment while supporting efficient front-line operations.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Grade 12 diploma and at least two years of relevant experience, including cash processing and payment handling. A strong understanding of office systems and procedures, along with basic accounting principles, is required. A minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute is essential. The successful candidate will be comfortable multitasking across a variety of clerical duties, demonstrate strong communication skills, and work effectively in a team environment. As a condition of employment, Aquatic Cashiers must be able to obtain and maintain a clear Police Information Check for any offenses related to the position. This role requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, days, evenings, and weekends. Candidates must be available between 5:30 AM and 10:00 PM, Monday to Sunday, with the ability to work call-in shifts on short notice. Most shifts will occur during evenings and weekends.
