Applicants must have completed a diploma from a recognized technical institute in engineering, plus specialized courses related to civil engineering design supplemented with a minimum 3 years’ experience in land development design and/or approval. Membership in Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia (ASTTBC) as a Civil Technologist is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Applicants must possess a valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence.
This is a CUPE bargaining unit position based on a 35-hour work week, and subject to Article 1(d) - Probationary Period as set out in the Union Collective Agreement. The hourly wage is $42.93, increasing to $45.19 after 60 working days (Jan 2025 Rates). Shortlisted applicants may be required to undergo a criminal record check and/or a verification of their education credentials.
