As the Senior Development Engineer, you will report to the Coordinator, Utility Specialists in Community Planning. In this role, you will provide leadership to a team of engineers and technical staff and support engineering review of Development Applications Review Team (DART) applications, capital project circulations, and approval process optimization.
Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering.
- Preference will be given to applicants with a degree in Civil Engineering.
- You must have at least 6 years of relevant professional engineering experience in design and/or construction of water, sanitary and stormwater systems and related infrastructure obtained after receiving your P. Eng. Designation and a current licensure as a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) complete with practicing status OR licensure and practicing status by the first day of work Click here for more details.
- Preference will be given to applicants with experience in land development and management of staff.
- Knowledge of the stormwater approvals process, both corporate and provincial, is a preferred asset.
