What you’ll do
- Lead the technical review of complex development applications and set engineering requirements for the project, ensuring the proper infrastructure is in place to support the proposal.
- Guide developments from the pre-application phase through to construction with confidence and professionalism.
- Provide expert guidance on municipal engineering standards, servicing, and construction
- Collaborate with planners, engineers, developers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements include a two-year diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution and a minimum of six years of directly related experience; registered as an AScT with the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC; and a valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (7 hours per day, 35 hours per week), with variation of work hours, flex days, and part-time work from home available. This is a C.U.P.E. Local 2011 position with a wage of $52.26 per hour plus and an excellent benefits package.
