Description
The Aquatics Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation and supervision of the aquatic facility, ensuring the safe, effective, and inclusive delivery of high-quality programs and services. This includes managing daily operations, leading a team of aquatic staff, maintaining compliance with health and safety standards, and promoting community engagement through diverse aquatics programming.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in developing, planning, executing, and evaluating pool operations and aquatic programs for swimmers of all levels
- Current certifications in National Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, and Standard First Aid/CPR
- Instructor Trainer or Aquatic Supervisor certification (an asset)
- Proven experience in maintaining pool safety standards, water quality, and compliance with health regulations
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, with the ability to train, schedule, and mentor aquatic staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with the public, staff, and community groups
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
The successful candidate must pass a vulnerable sector criminal record check.
Salary & Benefits
Annual Salary: $ 90,792.00 - $ 116,272.00 + Northern Living Allowance ($ 14,706.00)
