You bring to this role either a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or a related field which includes courses in accounting, along with two years of related progressive experience, or a diploma with at least five years of experience. This role requires a working knowledge of complex financial analysis, budgetary analysis, auditing and accounting procedures using concepts of quantitative analysis. You are also familiar with financial, debt and/ or statistical analysis variance reporting and interpretation. Your advanced Excel skills and considerable expertise with integrated financial systems round out your qualifications for this challenging position. A valid full privilege Class 5 BC driver’s license (or out of province equivalent) is required. The successful incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a clear Police Information Check for offenses related to the position.
