The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or a related field. A Professional Biologist or Professional Agrologist designation with applicable specializations is an asset.
- GIS and/or asset management training, course work or certification would be considered assets.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Ecosystem conservation and restoration as well as inventorying and valuation.
- Experience in asset management and working with asset management systems.
- Proven ability to organize and coordinate community engagement events or projects.
- Competent with Microsoft Office applications.
- Possession of a valid class 5 driver’s license and satisfactory driving record is required.
The total rewards package for this position includes:
A starting annual salary of $82,300 to $85,600, based on a 35-hour work week and the option to join the Earned Day Off Program.
