Reporting to the Director, Regional Water, the Manager, Finance and Procurement, Regional Water is responsible and accountable to the Director and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for financial management and procurement oversight for Regional Water. This position will ensure alignment of financial and procurement processes, policies and procedures with Water Board governance requirements and obligations.
Qualifications:
- A University Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Five to seven years of accounting/finance experience with utility business operation and/or municipal finance.
- Certified Professional Accountant or Certified General Accountant is a preferred asset.
- Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) designation or Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) designation, or equivalent is a preferred asset.
- Certified Municipal Officer designation or related certification is an asset.
- Must possess a valid Class ‘G’ Driver’s licence and have available use of a vehicle.
Compensation & Other Information:
$88,112 - $115.065
This posting is for 1 permanent, full-time position.
Current hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid.
These hours of work and work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with business requirements.
