Area of Focus: Legal Assistant/Law Clerk
Reports to the Manager, Risk Management. Provides a full range of administrative services and paralegal support to the insurance and risk administration functions of the Corporation. This includes but is not limited to, Insurance, litigation, by-laws, real property and administrative law activities of the Corporation to the extent permitted by applicable Law Society Rules and Regulations. Maintains confidentiality required at law and by the Law Society of Ontario
Qualifications:
- 2 Year College Diploma in Paralegal or Law Clerk program.
- Experience in a municipal government environment an asset.
- Minimum One (1) year related experience.
- P1 Licence with Law Society of Ontario (LSO) an asset
Compensation & Other Information:
$58, 770 - $76, 401
This posting is for (1) one permanent full-time position.
Current Hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Work hours and work arrangement are subject to change in accordance with business requirements.
