Description
Saanich Commonwealth Place is seeking multiple certified Aquatic Instructors who will be responsible for lesson management of our Lifesaving Society swimming lesson programs.  This includes planning and preparing assigned programs; instructing assigned classes; evaluating participants; record keeping and public relations. The successful candidates will also ensure participants are taught according to safety and skill standards outlined by Saanich and Aquatic agencies. 

Requirements

Requirements include: currently or completion of Grade 10; current Lifesaving Society BC Swim Instructor Award; over three months, a satisfactory Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector (PIC-VS) check no older than 6 months. Renewal of PIC-VS is required as per policy; An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Successful candidates will be required to work varying shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends (hours/shifts are subject to change). Salary & Benefits

This is a C.U.P.E.
