As an Engineering Technician IV, you will perform project scoping, manage the design and delivery of engineering projects from the concept phase through to construction completion including overseeing a team of consultants; respond to public inquiries; provide technical support to internal construction crews; liaise with/make recommendations to the Engineer of Record regarding design changes; and participate in intra or inter-departmental initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a sound technical foundation, strong project management skills, refined organization skills, and effective communication skills.

Requirements include a two-year diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution; a minimum of 5 years of directly related experience; eligibility for registration as an AScT with the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians BC; a valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License; a personal vehicle available for use as and when required. Candidate will be conversant with computer-based engineering applications including AutoCAD.
The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday (35 hours per week).
