Reporting to the Division Manager, Taxation and Revenue, the Project Manager, Property Tax Systems is responsible for the implementation of the property tax system modernization project, serving as the City’s property tax subject matter expert as the City implements a new tax software solution. This position will work collaboratively with the City’s Property Tax area, Information Technology Services (ITS), and the external software solution provider. This position requires a breadth of property taxation knowledge in Ontario, experience using multiple property tax software solutions, and appropriate information technology knowledge to ensure the successful implementation of the new property tax system. This is a temporary up to four-year position.
Qualifications:
- University Degree in Business with a focus on accounting or in a relevant area of study or equivalent combination of education and related professional and lived community experience.
- Three to five years related experience including property taxation in Ontario, vendor management, team leadership, project management, data management or supervisory responsibilities.
- Certificate of completion of the Municipal Tax Administration Program (MTAP) and/ or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is an asset.
Compensation & Other Information:
$87, 024 - $113, 644

Current hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Work Arrangement: 100% in office.
