Summary of Duties:

Reporting to the designated Manager, the Supervisor, Parks & Recreation Operations plans, develops, supervises, and co-ordinates various aspects and functions of the Division; supervises staff and carries out special projects.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a three year Community College program in a related field or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Five years of related experience in a public sector environment, including two years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  • Certificate of Qualification as a Refrigeration Operator - Class B or Certified Ice Technician (CIT).
  • Certified Pool Operator or equivalent.
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED Certificate or ability to obtain.
  • Class G Drivers Licence.
Salary & Benefits

Compensation & Other Information:

$87,024 - $113,644

This posting is for 1 temporary, full-time (up to 2 years) position.

Work Arrangement: On-site.

Please note that shift work is required in this position and hours of work / work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with business requirements.
