Summary of Duties:

Reporting to the Director of Construction and Infrastructure Services, the Division Manager, Geomatics provides strategic leadership and oversight of an infrastructure management portfolio that encompasses surveying, plan file management, locates, GIS operations, database administration, and advanced Geographic Information System analysis, as well as integration with the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This position also drives innovation and efficiency in the delivery of the Geomatics Division in alignment with the City of London’s Strategic Plan to meet evolving organizational needs.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a University degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Surveying, Geography, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional designation or certification such as P.Eng (Professional Engineer), OLS (Ontario Land Surveyor), or GISP (GIS Professional).
  • Seven to ten years related experience in geomatics, land surveying, GIS, or related fields, preferably in a municipal or government setting including management responsibilities.
  • Must possess a valid Class ‘G’ Driver’s licence and have available use of a vehicle.
Salary & Benefits

Compensation & Other Information:

$112,978 - $148,226

This posting is for 1 permanent, full-time position.

Current hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Work Arrangement: On-site. 

These hours of work and work arrangement are subject to change in accordance to business requirements.
