About You / What We Are Looking For

 

We are seeking dedicated full-time members, both regular and temporary, to join our Parks division as Maintenance Management System Operators. This role offers a unique blend of technical and administrative responsibilities, reporting directly to the Parks Operations Control Supervisor.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain and Update Systems: Oversee departmental records in our computerized maintenance management systems (Maximo/Cognos).
  • Data Entry and Analysis: Perform essential data entry and analysis using Excel and other relevant tools.
  • User Guidance and Assistance: Provide support to users in data integration and report generation.
  • Report Production and Analysis: Generate and analyze various reports and statistical data to aid in decision-making processes.
  • System Improvement Recommendations: Suggest modifications and improvements based on data insights.
  • Procedural Development and Training: Develop procedural guidelines, deliver training sessions, and offer technical advice to stakeholders.

 

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Education: Completion of at least a one-year certificate course in computer science, including or supplemented by courses in database concepts and programming. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
  • Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license for the province of British Columbia with a satisfactory driving record.

  • A driver’s license for the province of British Columbia (with satisfactory driving record).

Salary & Benefits

What We Offer:

 

This CUPE position has an hourly rate range of $36.06 - $42.44. The rate of pay is based on a variety of factors including qualifications, knowledge, experience and skills.
