The ideal candidate would have the following:
- Related labour experience, including using and maintaining various hand and power tools and equipment.
- Capable of performing physical labour duties as required.
- Experience in drainage-related construction such as culvert installation, ditching and bridge repairs OR familiarity with road maintenance equipment and procedures would be considered an asset.
- Heavy equipment operating experience is an asset.
- Ability to work independently, to communicate effectively with the public and other staff, and keep legible records.
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License is required; a Class 3 Operator’s License with Q (air) endorsement is desirable. Upon hire, a current commercial driver’s abstract must be provided.
The total rewards package for this position includes:
An hourly pay rate of $28.03 based on 40 hours per week.
