Summary of Duties:

Reporting to the Division Manager IV, Transportation Planning & Design, the Transportation Design Engineer assists in the administration of the Transportation Program and provides project management for the design, construction and maintenance of transportation infrastructure including roads, bridges and culverts.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science or Civil Engineering with an emphasis in transportation. 
  • Current registration:  Licensed Professional Engineer, Province of Ontario.
  • Five years of experience in Transportation Engineering and project management.
  • Experience as a Project Lead or in supervising technical staff.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Project Management certification is an asset.
  • Thorough knowledge of all related Federal, Provincial, and Municipal regulations and standards.
  • Ability to travel to various locations.
Salary & Benefits

Compensation & Other Information:

$99,156 to $129,818

This posting is for 1 permanent, full-time position.

Current hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Work Arrangement: Hybrid. Subject to change in accordance with business requirements.
