Reporting to the Division Manager, the Traffic & Transportation Engineer/Program Manager, Traffic & Transportation develops and manages programs to identify, evaluate and address issues related to traffic operations, transportation planning, and related transportation infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate university degree in Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; or a three year diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
- Licensed with the Professional Engineers of Ontario as a Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and 5 years of previous experience in transportation engineering and project management, OR
- Licensed with the Professional Engineers of Ontario as a Licensed Engineering Technologist (LET) with a scope relevant to the position and 8 years of related work experience.
- Experience as a Project Lead or in supervising technical staff.
- Certification as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) is an asset.
- Project management certification is an asset.
Compensation & Other Information:
$99,156 - $129,818
This posting is for 1 permanent, full-time position.
Current hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid. Subject to change in accordance with business requirements.
