The ideal candidate will have a four (4) year University Degree in Planning or Urban Design with four (4) years’ prior planning experience; municipal experience is an asset. They will be a Registered Professional Planner, accredited in Ontario. They will have applied, technical knowledge of applicable/related planning and heritage legislation/regulations, guidelines, and policies/policy statements. In addition, they will also have applied technical knowledge of urban design and project management. The ideal candidate will be skilled in communication, ingenuity, creativity, conceptual thinking and problem solving. They will also be able to work independently and as a team member on a number of projects simultaneously.

Compensation includes an annual salary of $94,469 – $113,371, and includes a comprehensive health, benefit and pension package.
