This posting is for one Full Time Permanent and one Full Time Temporary opportunity up to 9 months.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the development of social policy in a complex environment with changing issues and priorities
- Develop strong internal capacity for the delivery of social initiatives in support of the team, branch and department
- Support the Social Framework policy agenda by engaging and collaborating with community partners
- Identify and develop tools, methods and processes to inform policy
- Undertake research and summarize findings to inform policy and shared learning
- Design and implement evaluation of programs and projects
- Prepare discussion papers, briefings and advice for senior leadership on strategic policy and related initiatives
- Prepare briefings and reports, collaborate and network, and plan for and manage multiple concurrent initiatives

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in the human services field or social sciences including political sciences, human ecology, anthropology, sociology, psychology or related field with a minimum of four years relevant experience
- Experience in a policy related field across a range of areas including non-profit, government and community
- Demonstrated experience developing policy within the full policy cycle, preparing and reviewing policy as well as data analysis
- Experience working with multiple methods to develop collaborative processes

Salary Range: $77,532 - $96,933
