Description
The RCMP Training Program Administrator reports to the Support Services Training Manager and is responsible for monitoring progress, performance and compliance of cadets enrolled in RCMP training programs.  The incumbent also provides information, guidance and feedback to staff and liaises with the Pacific Region Training Center in relation to the work.

Typical duties include:

  • facilitate and coordinate orientations, panel meetings and training sessions

  • review and ensure assessments, related documentation and activities are completed and submitted per program requirements

  • provides oversight and monitors progress and performance of cadets relative to program expectations

  • provide input on selection of coaches for training programs.

The successful candidate will keep up to date on current laws and legislation applicable to the work, act as a resource person to staff and management, attend, represent and participate in meetings and committees.  In addition, you will be preparing and maintaining reports, documentation and files related to this position.

Requirements

Qualified applicants will have:

  • completion of a related post-secondary program

  • a minimum of 5 years experience in a policing environment including supervisory experience

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. This position requires completion of the relevant level of RCMP Security Clearance
