Description
We are seeking outstanding candidates to join our team of professional firefighters. A career in firefighting offers the opportunity to develop specialized skills, work as part of a dedicated team, and make a positive difference serving your community. We are establishing an eligibility list, with a potential start date for our first group of recruits in the Spring of 2027.
Requirements
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- High school graduation.
- A proven history of satisfactory job performance.
- A driving record that demonstrates responsible and safe driving behaviour. More than six points within the last three years may eliminate a candidate from further consideration
- No summary conviction for a criminal offense related to the job of Firefighter.
- Demonstrated commitment to a fit and healthy lifestyle.
- Physically fit and able to successfully pass both the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) prior to the interview stage and the Firefighter Medical Examination (NFPA 1582 standard) as a condition of offer.
