About the Role

Reporting to the asset manager, the CMMS coordinator is responsible for administering and optimizing Aquatera’s computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) as a core component of our asset management program. This role supports maintenance planning, asset data management, reporting and workflow standardization to ensure effective asset lifecycle management and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and optimize Aquatera’s CMMS (Cityworks) to support effective asset management and maintenance operations.
  • Maintain asset data integrity, system standards and governance practices across the CMMS environment.
  • Coordinate with operations, engineering, GIS, IT, and finance teams to support system improvements, integrations and data accuracy.
  • Manage asset lifecycle information, including asset creation, updates, retirements and data audits.
  • Develop and maintain standardized maintenance workflows, preventive maintenance programs and maintenance planning processes.
  • Monitor asset and maintenance data quality, identify improvement opportunities and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide CMMS training, user support and documentation to ensure consistent system adoption and best practices.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and demonstrate Aquatera’s principles, core values and code of conduct.
Requirements

Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Experience with CMMS, maintenance planning and scheduling, asset management or related operational systems.
  • Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in database management, reporting and data analysis.
  • Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of asset management and maintenance management practices; experience in a utility, municipal, industrial or infrastructure environment is an asset.
  • Experience with Cityworks CMMS is a strong asset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across operations, engineering, finance, IT, and GIS teams.

  • Legally entitled to work in Canada without limitations
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and satisfactory driver’s abstract
  • Pass 50 lb. fitness test
  • Pass comprehensive drug and alcohol test
