About the Role:
The Township of West Lincoln is hiring a Manager, Enterprise Information Technology and Transformation, to drive our digital future. This is an opportunity to lead enterprise technology strategy, modernize municipal services, strengthen cybersecurity, oversee Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and inspire innovation across the organization.
You'll work with leaders throughout the municipality to turn technology into a strategic advantage while providing leadership to our GIS and Help Desk teams. From developing long-term IT strategy to delivering measurable business outcomes, you'll help shape how our organization serves residents today and into the future.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Corporate Service/CFO and Governance Committee in the development and implementation of a multi-year IT Strategy aligned with corporate priorities, and business objectives.
- Translate strategic priorities into actionable implementation plans and lead initiatives and transformation projects.
- Foster strong partnerships with departmental leaders, creating awareness of the strategy, initiatives, and services, ensuring technology investments support service excellence.
- Identify emerging trends and recommend/promote investment opportunities to modernize municipal operations through digital transformation, infrastructure modernization, cloud technologies, automation, artificial intelligence, data analytics, GIS, and business process improvement.
- Manage servers, storage, networking, cloud and platform services, data centres, internet connectivity, wireless networks, and telecommunications to ensure reliable and resilient operations.
- Provide technical support for employees; manage hardware deployment, software installation, account administration, and issue resolution through service management processes.
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for all Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Shared Service partners, and vendors.
The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or related discipline, combined with a minimum of eight years of IT leadership experience.
The salary range for this position is $107,199.46 - $131,473.56 (2026). The Township also offers a comprehensive benefits package and participation in the OMERS pension plan.
Normal work hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday. This position does require flexibility to work outside regular business hours to attend Council meetings, support special events and projects, accommodate operational deadlines, and respond to after-hours IT issues, including system outages and other critical needs.
