Requirements include: Grade 12 or equivalent; EOCP O.I.T. (Operator in Training) Certification for Water Distribution is an asset; six months of pipefitting experience in water and wastewater systems; Traffic Control Certificate; Occupational First Aid Level I Certification; annual renewal for Driver’s Abstract; may work in close proximity or in actual contact with raw sewage and have sufficient physical strength, stamina and coordination to permit performance of heavy manual work in all types of weather. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
The successful candidates will work Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (40 hours per week). As a component of the selection process, testing will be conducted. Although we thank all applicants for applying, only those under consideration will be contacted.
