Description
The Township of Oro-Medonte is seeking a dynamic and collaborative leader who is passionate about community engagement and committed to delivering exceptional public services. Reporting to the Director, Operations and Community Services, the Manager of Community Services will work in a cross-functional environment and will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing Township facilities, parks, community programs, special events, and related projects in a manner that is responsive to the needs of a growing community while optimizing municipal resources.

Requirements

Based at our new community centre, the ideal candidate is a collaborative and effective manager with proven success in leading projects and programs, as well as strong expertise in facility management and community recreation planning. You are a graduate of a post-secondary program in business administration, recreation management, engineering, facilities management, or a related field, and you bring a minimum of seven years of progressive experience in community services, including at least three years of team leadership and project management experience.

In addition to a strong working knowledge of the legislation and governance that impact facilities, parks, and recreation management, you bring excellent communication and budget management skills, along with a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.

A satisfactory Driver’s Abstract and Criminal Background Check are required for this role.

This non-union, bargaining-exempt position offers a salary commensurate with experience and education (2026 salary range of $114,688 - $139,404).
