Through direct participant support, outreach, and continuous learning, the Assistant will play a vital role in advancing the City’s climate goals—including reducing community greenhouse gas emissions by 75% by 2030 and achieving net zero by 2040. This position also contributes to the City’s Climate Plan and its ambition to become the number one municipality in Canada based on value for service.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Relevant experience in energy, sustainability, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in community-based energy efficiency programs, community engagement and collaborative initiatives is an asset.
- Class 5 Driver’s License.

- This position is primarily remote, with occasional in-person attendance required based on operational needs.
COMPENSATION: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
