Description
Reporting to the CAO and serving as a member of the Senior Management Team, the Manager of Transportation Services is responsible for the planning, coordination, and overall direction of the Township’s transportation-related operations. This role oversees the maintenance and improvement of municipal roads, bridges, sidewalks, drainage systems, fleet, and winter control operations.

You will lead a dedicated team, manage departmental budgets and capital planning, contribute technical expertise to development and infrastructure projects, and champion continuous improvement in service delivery. Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering, Public/Business Administration, Road Construction or related field.
  • More than 5 years of experience in municipal roads, engineering or infrastructure operations.
  • Up to 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience, especially in a unionized environment.  
  • Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation, considered an asset.
  • Strategic mindset with excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of municipal transportation systems, stormwater, asset management, and related legislation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable adopting new technologies.
  • Valid G Drivers License.
Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: $101,753 to $127,192, based on a 40-hour work week
