JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for receiving, recording, and balancing payments for municipal services while providing courteous and efficient service to the public.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and process payments for taxes, utilities, licenses, permits, and other municipal fees.
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate cash records and deposit reports.
- Reconcile daily cheque, debit, credit and online payment transactions.
- Respond to inquiries from residents regarding billing, payments, and account balances.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with municipal financial policies and procedures.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- High School or equivalent
- A diploma in Business or Accounting would be an asset.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in an accounting function with a customer service component.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good data entry skills
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Organized and attentive to detail

Salary Range:$58,304.00 To $65,015.00 Annually
