Description
In this technical role, you will assist the Asset Management Division by undertaking the challenges associated with the development and implementation of the City’s asset management strategies, processes, and tools. You will provide technical training and advice, participate in research activities, complete life cycle costing of alternative asset renewal or replacement strategies, and participate in the development and implementation of asset data collection processes. 

Requirements

You are a motivated professional with a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology and certification as an Applied Science Technologist (AScT) or Certified Technician in British Columbia. Ideally, you have at least five years of experience in design, operations, and project management, preferably within the municipal or municipal consulting sector. You possess extensive knowledge of asset management procedures and practices. You thrive in a fast-paced work environment and enjoy collaborating as part of an interdisciplinary team. The successful applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a clear Police Information Check for offences related to the position. A valid, full privilege Class 5 BC driver’s license (or out of province equivalent) is also required.
