Description
The City of Dawson Creek invites applications for a permanent full-time Lifeguard/Instructor II position. Under the general supervision of the Aquatics Coordinator or designate, a Lifeguard/Instructor II performs lifeguarding duties, as well as minor maintenance, and provides instruction in several aquatic programs and skills at the Kenn Borek Aquatic Centre.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Current National Lifeguard Award (Pool Option).
- Current Lifesaving Society Swim for Life Instructor Certification.
- Current Lifesaving Instructor Certification.
- Current Standard First Aid, Level C CPR (OFA Level 1 equivalent).
- Pool Operator Certification Level 1.
- Completion of Grade 12, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1000 hours of experience as a Lifeguard/Instructor.
Salary & Benefits
$39.10/hour after probation.
