JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Management Coordinator is responsible for coordination of all aspects to maintain and support the development of the Wastewater Management System and Stormwater Management System. Prepares documents and supports management system activities to comply with the new Consolidated Linear Infrastructure Environmental Compliance Approvals (CLI ECA) for both wastewater and stormwater systems. The incumbent will also assist in the new CLI ECA reporting and monitoring for the two systems, as well as the QA/QC of O&M and INF Stormwater preventative maintenance programs and the identification of best practices.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports the development and maintenance of the wastewater and stormwater management systems, including the planning and delivery of key activities, in accordance with the requirements of applicable system standards and the policies and procedures documented in the Operational Plans.
- Updates changes in the O&M Manual for both, the wastewater collection and stormwater management systems to satisfy compliance with CLI ECA Schedule E. Reviews, updates and supports the development of wastewater and stormwater documents with managers and staff to ensure documents are current.
- Delivers education of CLI ECA requirements to management and applicable staff to raise awareness and ensures contracts adhere to water, wastewater and stormwater systems requirements from CLI ECA and DWWP.
- Coordinates and completes the annual performance reports for wastewater collection and stormwater management systems which involves collecting information from all ES Waterworks Divisions, Engineering and OPS stormwater preventative maintenance programs for annual ditches, swales, culvert, OGS (Oils Grits Separator) and catch basin cleaning for purposes of tracking performance.
- Oversees the scheduling of preventative maintenance programs completed by O&M and INF Stormwater for the water, wastewater and stormwater systems, as per the respective O&M Manuals, QA/QC for all PM programs.
- Oversees O&M and third parties providing the expected information for sampling, testing, monitoring and reporting requirements under the CLI ECA. Supports the use of stormwater

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- College diploma or University Degree in a relevant field preferably disciplines in engineering, environmental science or studies.
- Recognized certification, either in CET (Certified Engineering Technologist), Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (P. Eng).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the civil engineering or environmental engineering field with a focus on municipal infrastructure operation and maintenance.

Salary Range: $84,084.00 To $93,974.00 Annually
