The successful candidate will hold a high school diploma along with a minimum of two years of post-secondary education including courses in fire service leadership, business administration or a related discipline. Completion of Fire Officer II is critical, as is considerable knowledge of the Fire Services and its culture. A minimum of ten years’ progressively responsible experience in a fire department is required, along with five years of supervisory experience.
