This challenging position will:
- be the primary contact for customer service calls, consultants, salespeople and contractors
- provide reception duties which include screen and process all inquiries by phone and in person and relay messages
Other Duties:
- submit and process locate request information
- assist with month end responsibilities as required
- data entry and reporting for Alberta Environment
- minute taking for meetings
- assist with accounts payable and receivable
- assist with Payroll entry
- general administrative duties inclusive of filing, ordering supplies, internal communications, and employee file maintenance
- assist team members with other duties as assigned
The successful candidate will:
- be legally entitled to work in Canada without limitations
- have a minimum of 1 year of experience in an office administration role; a certificate in Office Administration/Administrative Support would be considered an asset

- have the ability communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English
- have computer knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- possess strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- have strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, organized and able to meet timelines
- possess customer service training and/or related experience

- be able to work as part of a team or independently without direct supervision
The following are the conditions of employment:
- Drug & Alcohol test with results satisfactory to the Employer
- Provision of a current Canadian Driver’s license
- Provision of a current Driver’s Abstract satisfactory to the Employer
