The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager – Talent Acquisition & Development, and the technical direction and guidance from the Manager – Compensation & Benefits, as the Job Design Advisor, you will be responsible for advising, supporting, and coordinating the Corporation’s overall job design process. This includes coordinating job descriptions, job evaluations, pay equity, and organizational restructuring activities.

Key responsibilities also include coordinating the HR procedure review process and ensuring consistent communication of the Corporation’s employer brand and job/career opportunities across all platforms.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Diploma in business, human resources or a related discipline with four (4) years’ experience in a high-volume multi union, technology driven job classification and compensation environment; and
  • Demonstrated experience in providing advice to leaders on matters related to job design, job classifications descriptions, and job evaluations, organizational restructures; and communicating employer brand and employment opportunities to potentials. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with administration, union executives, co-workers, employees, community target groups and the general public
  • Strong research, planning, organizational and project/time management skills
  • Excellent facilitation skills and the ability to plan and deliver job evaluation sessions to a variety of audiences using oral, written, and presentation software
