You have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from a publicly accredited post-secondary institution recognized in the BC Transfer Guide. You must also hold or be eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia. Having a Project Management certificate (CMP) or a professional project management designation (PMP) would be an asset. Ideal applicants have at least three years of experience as a licensed practicing engineer, with expertise in civil engineering, planning, design, and construction inspection, as well as municipal water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, and pumping infrastructure. Experience and familiarity with hydraulic modeling is preferred. Additionally, training and experience in project management activities related to construction, including resource planning, procurement, and financial management and analysis, are required.
