Reporting to the Manager and working as part of an interdependent team, the responsibilities of the Supervisor, Special Events and Dundas Place range from facility management to activation program delivery and community enablement/engagement. This position is required to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a university degree or college diploma in, Event Management, Hospitality, Recreation or equivalent combination of education and related professional and lived community experience.
- Three to five years of experience in a municipal environment with emphasis on customer service and supervising staff.
Compensation & Other Information:
$77,276 to $100,843
This posting is for one (1) permanent, full-time position.
Work Arrangement: In office.
Standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. These hours may be adjusted based on business needs. During event season, the schedule may shift to include weekends - for example, a Wednesday through Sunday work week.
