The successful candidate will bring strong leadership and organizational skills to deliver essential services to the community. The successful candidate will hold an undergraduate degree in environmental studies, engineering or other related discipline; with six (6) years of related experience in a local or regional government setting, including three (3) years of supervisory experience overseeing unionized and professional staff in one or more areas of wastewater collection, water supply, water treatment, water distribution, watershed management, watershed protection, plant engineering, asset management, and project management. Full registration with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC) is considered an asset. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
The salary for this position is $137,708 - $153,021 annually and is supplemented by a competitive total compensation plan. This salary is based on the 2024 exempt management salary structure and does not reflect the results of the salary review that is currently underway in accordance with the exempt compensation policy.
