Qualifications include a Grade 12 education and a minimum of one year of experience working with the public in a role that involves enforcing rules and regulations. Formal training in conflict resolution and customer service is also required. Familiarity with parking control, bylaw enforcement, court procedures, and adjudication processes, as well as experience in a regulatory field focused on enforcing regulations and gaining compliance, are considered assets. You should possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact courteously with the public, as well as the ability to work independently. As a condition of employment, this position requires obtaining and maintaining a clear Police Information Check for any offences related to the job. A valid full-privilege Class 5 BC driver’s license (or an out-of-province equivalent) is also required.
