Position Overview
Are you a skilled Instrumentation Mechanic looking for a role where your expertise directly enhances the infrastructure of a growing city? Join our team and play a critical role in keeping Kamloops running safely and efficiently! From designing and installing cutting-edge instrumentation systems to troubleshooting complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic controls, your work will help power everything from pumping stations to recreation facilities.
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Completion of Instrumentation and Control Technician Red Seal Program.
- Minimum three years’ previous experience working as an instrumentation technician and currently working in the trade.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an RCMP enhanced security clearance.
- Valid BC Driver's Licence - Class 5.
For new hires, and for those working in designated positions of trust, including those working directly with vulnerable persons, no formal offer of employment will be made until an applicant completes a police information check. A comprehensive benefits package is included with this position. This a CUPE local 900 position. This job posting will be open until filled.
