You have completed Grade 12 and possess a valid full-privilege Class 3 BC driver’s license with air endorsement (or an equivalent from another province). Furthermore, your driver’s abstract must reflect a safe driving record. You also have at least one year of experience as a truck driver operating on public roadways, along with training in the operation of heavy-duty trucks. Additionally, you have a solid understanding of the methods and procedures for collecting, transporting, and unloading solid waste. Ideally, you are qualified to operate tandem axle, right-hand drive automated garbage trucks; however, if you are an experienced truck driver, we will provide the necessary training.
