Description
Summary of Duties:

Reporting to the Director, Municipal Compliance, the Manager, Licensing, Policy and Special Operations is responsible for managing a broad range of policy initiatives, including by-law development, and operational Municipal Compliance proactive initiatives in the field on a city-wide basis and topic specific basis. This position provides leadership to a team of Development Policy Coordinators who assist with creating policies, bylaws, and proactive compliance initiatives and the Municipal Compliance Licensing team. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or College Diploma with a focus in municipal law enforcement, land use planning or law and security administration or equivalent combination of education and related professional and lived community experience.
  • Five to seven years related experience including management responsibilities and bylaw development and enforcement.
  • Certification as a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer (MLEO).
Salary & Benefits

Compensation & Other Information:

$88,112 to $115,065

This posting is for one (1) permanent, full-time position.

Standard hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

These hours of work are subject to change in accordance to business requirements.
