Business Support Technician
(Permanent, Full-Time)

Foothills County encompasses a diverse rural landscape located in the foothills of southern Alberta with our administrative office in High River, AB. Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, the Business Support Technician is the first point of contact for the County’s employees experiencing technical difficulties. This position will work collaboratively with the IT department to provide exceptional customer service and support while participating in projects to improve the overall IT infrastructure and services including Foothills Fibre customers.
To be successful in this position you will need:
- Diploma in Computer Technology or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution. Two plus (2+) years of experience in IT support or similar technical role may be considered.
- Possess a valid class 5 Alberta driver’s license.
